Nope, those are both true. The first was when I was really little and had been taken to a fair of some sort. The other was also when I was young, the parents brought home leftovers from a wild game restaurant and some of it was alligator tail. I remember it being very good, but promising that I'd never eat reptile again since I love them so much.
