Yeah, the reason I started making my own treats is because Fenris, my German Shepard, is allergic to beef, chicken, grains, brewer's yeast and gluten, you know, all the most common filler ingredients in pet foods. Then started doing extensive reading on feeding your pets right and I'd love to go fully home cooked food for him, but with two other dogs it's very pricey to make such a transition. I know the little trainer treats are good, they've been human and dog tested and all approve. (Ink mentions they help settle their stomach)
