Sep. 30th, 2008 06:42 pmBefore I really got into Transformers, I was into Zoids. Now it's not all that difficult to draw a line between the two. Both are shows about giant robots fighting each other, each sets of giant robots have some level of awareness, and are alive in some way.
This has niggled and nagged at me almost as long as my renewed Transformers interest. To the point where I've written lists of which zoid would best suit which Transformer character, and it's amazing how well some of them fit. So in an effort to dislodge it, I gave in and drew Sunstreaker and Sideswipe in my choice of the Lightning Saix. It's a high performance zoid with a lot of speed. With how well this turned out has me pretty satisfied, I've never really drawn a zoid before.
I'm hoping the rest will leave me alone now.
( They actually look pretty good as zoids. )
The format better not be screwy again.
