A happy birthday and a preview

In the turbofox wiki it mentions that once the war is over, Mirage works towards saving them as the war had quite the negative effect on their populations. I was trying for a more wild vibe with the turbofox but I'm glad to have simply finished the picture in time for today. It's been a while since I've done one of these legendary speedsters, and never from this angle before. Hope you like it.

Haven't been with it the last few days at all, thanks to a couple of ~lovely~ migraines and an inability to focus. As in half a dozen typos a sentence out of it among other vapid things, like bumping into walls and tripping on air. Ink-in-Hands do not mix well with secondhand smoke and other toxic shit in the world.
<- And here's that preview.

You're wonderful and I love it! Thank you so much!

Thank you and you're welcome.

(plus, having something with a deadline got me to work on and finish a piece when I wouldn't have otherwise, so thanks for that too.)

Heh, I'll remember to have birthdays more often. XP

Eh, once a year is enough. Got other people I can draw for the rest of the time. :P Still, glad you like it.

aw, such a sweet picture! the turbofox looks rather proud, i think--which is very cool and mirage is looking at it like a very indulgent friend. perhaps it's a fox that was too damaged to be able to return to the wild and has since become one of those traveling educational animals or somesuch?

and if that preview is what i think it is, there is much glee coming from my little corner. ^__^

Thank you. And that's a very good explanation for the picture, better than anything I had for it.

Yes, that preview is what you think it is. But the waiting time is going to be longer than normal, as the bunny decided that it needs an accompaning fanfic.

[livejournal.com profile] eerian_sadow: making up decent backstories since 1986. ~_^

eeeeeeeeeeeee!! fanfic makes it that much more fun! *bounces with excitement*

*blinks* '86?

Fanfic makes it better sure, but fanfic tends to kick my aft, it's going to take forever to write. *exaggerated mope*

i wrote my first piece of fanfiction in 1986. (i had to do a little bit of math when i figured that out one day, but it had to be 1986, because i turned it in for a first grade writing assignment.) and it was roughly 65 words of filling in the backstory for a video game. ^_^

*snugs* it's okay! i shall wave encouraging pom poms and cheer and offer to beta for you if you'd like. ^_^ *waves pom poms and cheers*

Oh nice, don't think I wrote anything at that time, But then I was just a yearling. Which game?

Encouraging pom poms are encouraging. And I'll probably take your offer of a beta, writing isn't one of my strong points.
