*staggers back to LJ*
Would have posted this a few days earlier when I actually finished it, but I've been so freaking busy, it's not even funny. It doesn't help that people in real life can burn me out faster than a cheap lightbulb, so even when I do have free time I don't want to spend it socializing. And that's nothing against you guys, you guys are great. I've never been much of a social butterfly, but now I think things are cooling down so expect more art from me soon. And if not(because I'm no seer), I'm just glad to cross this off my to-finish list.

*still needs to write out their stories* Primus, I'm neglecting my characters and stories. Though as always, Wardrum is still demanding first place whenever I draw any of my Sauricons.
And yes, he has no optics like this. I don't even know if he even has a mech mode in his movieverse version, he's not telling me. *sigh*

The whole optic less thing going on could be really fun to play around with. Maybe that's one of the reason's he chose that particular form. Because all the sensors he needs to 'see' the world around him are located in that spiffy looking head crest of his. Reminds me of that one alien from Ben 10 that I can't remember its name, the one with no eyes and instead uses these gill like things to see.
*tilts head* Do you know of the Powermasters? They traded in their ability to transform to have more power in their one mode. Perhaps Wardrum has done something similar.
The blue stripe where optics would normally be makes him look a lot like an Autobot, and if I didn't know better, that's the faction I'd think he was. Maybe he could use that to his advantage?

The no eyes thing bit me. It bit me hard, in their movieverse versions most of the team are lacking in the optic department. They have a whole different creation history in their movieverse backstory as well, and what you see IS his original form. *Really, really needs to write out their fic. Bad author, bad.* I haven't seen enough of Ben 10 to know much more than the first few he had, so I'm afraid you have me at a loss.
*ponders* I like this. I may have to explore it as a possibility, because it can fit so well here.
He insisted on a least a little bit of his original coloration and he was pretty adamant that it be on his crest thing.

*gets out cattle prod* Do I have to start poking again to get, at the very least, their bios? 'Cause if I have to I will.
The Ben 10 alien I was thinking of is called Wildmutt. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Omnitrix_aliens) It's surprisingly hard to find good information on his alien forms.
I'm glad he insisted on some of his original coloring, especially in the place he did. The head crests are one of the reasons I like that species of dinosaur so much. And because I'm horrible at names, I have given his alt mode dinos the nickname of 'flutehead'.

Yes, do prod me. I think I need it in this case. The stupid shame is just sitting there and not even bothering to give me the motivation to get rid of it. *sigh*
Oh I remember that one. (Look how much my brain was fried) And hunh, you're right, that is surprising.
*snerk* I love these nicknames you keep coming up with for them. You've given me some great name calling fodder to use. I'm atrocious at coming up with insults, and a TF fic without proper verbal flaying between factions isn't much of a TF fic at all. Wardrum is giving me this wonderful look of taken aback bafflement and silently mouthing the name that I have to put in a fic somewhere.

Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs. Saurs.
Minefield. Minefield. Minefield. Minefield. Minefield. Minefield. Minefield. Minefield. Minefield. Minefield.

Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade. Sawblade.
You can always have them sing the Element Song. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYZ6sCDkooA) Or Torpedo discovering some new extremophiles. Or the first time they go against the Dinobots. I'd try to think of others, but it's difficult when I know so little about them.
Hmmm, how about this: Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots. Minibots.
There's been even less of the maintenance team that your Saurs. And remember with Bios you can always alter them as you flesh out the characters or something changes. It's what I've had to do many a time with my own OCs.
Did I ever link you to this? (http://www.elfwood.com/farp/thewriting/crissychar/crissychar.html) Or am I having a flatline of my own?
I'm glad I could come up with some good nicknames, because when it actually comes to real names, I'm horrible. It seems that all my naming ability is actually going into your characters instead of my own. Oh well, at least I'm able to actually come up with some good names, which makes me more than content.
