Ah, October, the morbid month.

I'm going to enjoy this.

Today is pretty much the last day to push a fanfic forward for this. As my goal was three, and unless there's last minute additions, I'm just going to go ahead and shoot for doing all four.

I'm horribly weak willed when challenged to draw something out of mythology, especially if I've never heard of it before. It's like saying impossible to a scientist, I can't help but try. So when the Rompo was pointed out to me, it was inevitable that I'd draw it.

Let's name it Sinatra...or some appropriate equivalent thereof.

...

See subject line. *thump*

So do I. *insomnia laugh*

Hmmm, I'm not familiar with him enough... *tries to think of another one* ...nope, can't come up with a thing.

*stares* *shoves body under the rug* *looks up reanimation spells*

*coughs + twitches under rug*

Arson: Try candy instead. In my experience, sugar revives my mun better than any spell.

That is one creepy looking little fragger. I think it's the human ears, beasties that have human like facial features always were more unnerving to me. Still, the fact that it croons softly while it eats has endeared it to me.

How 'bout naming it Mambo?

I'm going to have to make a list of all these mythological creatures to challenge you to draw. A separate list from the bunny one for you I have.

*flails* I know! While drawing it, I had to keep reminding myself that it was the ears that made it look odd and that they were fine humans ears. (to the point that I was tempted to erase what I had, draw hare ears, then when I was done redo the human ones) The croon is all powerful.

*snirk*

Oh gods... oh gods! I really need to find a way to poke your muses.

Human ears just look so weird on any other creature. It's not even the fact that they're hairless, since there's a number of animals that have bald ears/tails/whathaveyou. And when you add animal parts to humans, while sometimes odd, it usually just doesn't have that unsettling factor to it. The croon just hits that 'it's so cute' button in me. And the way the meat is a darker red than the blood on its muzzle, when just glancing at the picture, I keep on thinking it's wearing a bow tie and that it's goind to start cracking jokes.

Oh, my muses are being poked just fine, thank you very much. It's just that they're flighty little buggers and once I have an outline for a fic or have it half way done, they abandon it to work on another. And it's all I can do to finish the ones I started on. Like I said, it's not so much you poking them as getting them/me to focus and finish that's the problem.

*nods* I find the Manticore on the creepier/more threatening end of the scale for that very reason. "Hmmm, slimy... yet... strangely satisfying."

Alright then, *deep breath* time for the big guns. *makes with the kicked bumblepuppy optics at Hotzone* Can't you cooperate with your writer at least a little bit? I've drawn you art, I've drawn you art with a parasite. And I would very much like to see fic belonging to you. At the very least, I might be inspired to draw more art since I find you so interesting. So, please? *gets the Sauricons to join in* Pretty please?
