Prompts are now closed.
But ideas are always welcome. All unfinished prompts will be completed, just give me some time.

Because
chopperaerials said they needed one a while ago. It's probably too late to do anything about it, but I hope you like it still. I tried to keep to your description of him, but if I got anything wrong I'm sorry. And here's to you having seen the movie Hook, otherwise this won't make any sense most likely.

During a write up of my Sauricons profiles as a group, I listed
heslestors' OC Hotzone as one of their likes. Which is quite significant, seeing as he's an Autobot and my characters are loyal Decepticons. This then demanded a picture with Wardrum being a pain in the aft and taking advantage of his considerable size. Again, I hope I got the design right.

Inspired by a picture I haven't finished and this post I saw while browsing the bunny farm friends page. Basically my mind agreed, said that only I should be able to rape my memories of Magi Nation as I see fit (cookie jar you absolute monster), and then tossed this pairing of shadow magi at me. It then proceeded to break itself by liking the crack pairing it cooked up and gave me a couple of mental images to draw out.I guess the following could be considered spoilers, but oh well. Warrada (the one on the left) is a nasty piece of work who near kills her twin brother in a very painful and agonizing way. And Harror has no objections to abandoning her comrades to death via quicksand. Which.... probably makes them a better match than I first gave them credit for.
Oh and I'm reading a 726 page guide to synonyms that's fifty years old for fun.

Now to comment about these three...
Pic1: I can't remember if I've ever seen the movie Hook, so I don't get it, but I still like it.
Pic2: I love their expressions and the colors.
Pic3: I have no idea who they are but they are pretty. I love the green one's hair.

There's a part in the movie where a character who is scared to death of flying is given a parachute as a gift. As it's being handed to him and as he's asking what it is, the reply is "a hug".
Harror and Warrada are from a game/storyline called Magi Nation. It's pretty obscure, so I'm not surprised you don't know about it, it's old too and they don't make anything for it anymore so that doesn't help much with it's obscurity. Recently it was made into a cartoon that a lot of fans were in an outrage over since it was so bad. Hence my disgust towards cookie jar, the company that made it.

and WOOO crack! Poor Harrada though, don't get no love, cannon or otherwise.

Harrada? Is that the combining of the pairing names thing? And I just realized something sad. If this had been made into cannon, people would have been less outraged with this than what they were with any one of the changes Cookie Jar did. (Not that I have anything against same sex partnerships but just going off public opinion in these sorts of things)

Warrada is scary! I would rather be at the mercy of Megatron than her. At least with him your death will be quick, she, on the other hand, will work her way into your head and really mess you up before disposing of you. As Hrada unfortunately knows. *makes a note to draw him sometime soon*

You're making me want to read the dictionary/thesaurus for fun now.Good Primus man, I chocked on air when I saw Hotzone and Wardrum. And I didn't really have any sort of design for his body set in stone, or at all really 'cause I suck at that part, so you did more than fine with it. I haven't been able to find a suitable vehicle form for him and it is driving me nuts, since I remember, a long time ago, seeing a truck that was designed specifically for moving hazardous materials, instead of being a semi, and I cannot find it anywhere. I have the feeling Wardrum's being a bigger pain in the aft than normal since I think he just interrupted 'Zone investigating some new specimen. Hmm, I wonder if the Saurs would ever kidnap him? (And have I mentioned how much I like the expressions you do? 'Cause I'm really digging Wardrum's right now.) How did you know that I've been thinking about Hotzone? Talin's been sulking in the back of my mind all depressed because 'Zone's gone off on some new spree in some remote place and left him all alone for a while. On the bright side it means that no one wants to (willingly) enter 'Zone's lab to feed him since he's taking out his frustrations on everyone else. For some reason, I like the fact that you gave Hotzone a yellow belly. *giggles* I bet the humans will use that to annoy him when he's being too insufferable. And you've just given me a bunny, one that 'Zone's really not gonna like. I also think it's bad to even remember things like the movie Aliens with a fan chara like 'Zone in your head since he quite likes the idea of having Talin secured in a special compartment on him (and perhaps some of Talin's brothers as well) and able to pop out of 'Zone's armor for strategic purposes.
I now really want to get into Magi Nation, the crack pairing you came up with looks very intriguing.

I am now tempted to just share arbitrary/unusual word definitions with you*glee* I love your Hotzone, really I do. He needs to start giving you better mental pictures, or more storylines or something. *ponders on the threat effectiveness of sending the Sauricons to keep him from his work until he cooperates with you* Is it a short truck with what's basically a thick metal drum attached to it, what you have in mind for an alt-mode? Wardrum is certainly the exuberant one of the five, he's the one who'll attract your attention the most, distracting you from the others. Which is why he also tends to be the one most frequently drawn, he's constantly being on the somewhat flashy side while I'm trying to look at his companions.
The fragger(No you haven't but the compliment is delicious *noms it*)Probably because he's been in my head too, interacting with Torpedo and the others a little bit. For a moment I was wondering why my Saurs(I'm loving that nickname) wouldn't be taking care of Talin because they find his parasite fascinating. Then I remembered that Hotzone is an Autobot, making his labs somewhat hard to get to for a 'con. Face meet palm, palm this is face. *grins* I hadn't even thought of that, poor Hotzone, getting called a coward by little squishies. And hello fandom telepathy how are you today? I was just thinking about Alien. Particularly face-huggers with bunny ears leaping at unsuspecting folks, it is quite the entertaining visual while people watching.
Yay! *pumps fists in air* Omg, I'll try not to bombard you with too much fantardness. *crosses fingers* Here's a good site (http://www.dukenostalgia.com/mnd/index.htm) that you can find all the fiction and what the cards look like that were saved before the official web page changed. Mind it was written with a younger audience as their target demographic, so the writing can be simplistic at times, but Primus are there some interesting characters. It's also fun seeing the progression of artistic skill as the card expansions came out. A fan site (http://home.comcast.net/~blackdaggr/MagiNation/index.html) whose focus was giving Magi Nation role-playing rules so while none of it is actually official, it really makes it easy to learn what the world was like. But whatever you do, DO NOT watch any of the cartoon they made, it hurts. It hurts so very much

See, I've been in a writing slump all winter, and now that I'm starting to feel the least bit inclined to write, the bunnies decide to tackle me at once, all demanding attention, and I just can't split my focus that much. Then, I keep on finding all those writing challenges communities and get suckered in by some of those prompts and argh *rips out hair*
I'm glad you love my Hotzone so much. See, I have two new characters that are trying to develop, unfortunately, they're the kind that are all 'Oh, lookit me, write me slag it!' And as soon as you get a few sentences in, they disappear completely only to tease you with maybe a glimpse or two when you're trying to write other things. That, and Sixshot has demanded that a prompt for him be filled, and who am I to argue with someone like him? Yeah, it is kind of hard to interact with someone you like when they're on opposite sides of the war. Now, how would they act if something like a Christmas truce were to ever happen? I think that's good for the alt mode, and it's odd that I'm so slack about it 'cause usually I have to have the alt mode before I can even start on their personality. Though I have found this. (http://www.capecodfd.com/PAGES%20Main/HazMat.htm) The second pic is the one I have my eye on the most, though it's still quite up in the air what his actual alt mode looks like. Then there's this big guy. (http://www.sccfd.org/station_2.html) This one too. (http://www.dpsyinc.com/products/dpodtruck.html) Then there's the military grade ones (http://www.capecodfd.com/PAGES%20Main%202/News_03%20Otis.htm), which make me laugh horribly, since the warrior types haven't seen 'Zone's alt mode yet and are always teasing him about his fighting prowess, so when he turns into one of those beasts, well it shuts them up right quick. And maybe it's a good thing I couldn't find the one picture I was thinking of.
You do realize that I have a Universe Cyclonus standing next to my computer right now, or the fact that many nickname him Bunny? And because of that I have an image of Cyclonus headshaped facehuggers attacking everyone.
I remember when Magi Nation first came out, I absolutely loved their art. Wish I bought the games when I had the chance. And too late about the cartoon. I watched it once when it first aired, because I was all excited they were coming out with new Magi Nation material. I tried to watch it, but the voice acting grated on me so bad I didn't even make it to the first commercial break. I DO have a few cards, however.
I really want a Magi Nation/Transformers crossover now. *snickers* Fly like a rock, really.
It's late, a beautiful night, I'm in a good mood, and I've had an energy drink. Can ya tell? :D
*edit for html fail*
The trick is to stay away from anything you
thinkknow will give you new ideas. Though it's a double edge sword when you need an idea to continue something you're already working on. *hands over a wig**winces in empathy* Try having a mech start demanding attention, giving you his name straight out, a bit of history while chattering away when you
wantneed to concentrate on something else and whose alt-mode is the camera you haven't even gotten yet! It would be very unwise for any easily squishable little organic to deny him anything. I think my Sauricons would be ecstatic that they could spend time with him openly, if only for a short while, so they'd probably drag him off (willing or not) to do as many things as possible with him without worrying about getting shot at before the day runs out. Once you do decide on his alt-mode, I figure it won't be long before he pokes me for another picture concerning his root mode including whatever kibble that belongs to it.You do? And now I think you've given me a crack version of those mental images. Not that it wasn't crack before, but now there's crack crack.
So do I, I even have a few ideas for a crossover like which G1 episode it starts in and how the magi would react. Because really, all these giant living machines resemble the Colossus (http://www.dukenostalgia.com/mnd/BSImages/Colossus.jpg) a little too strongly for them to be entirely comfortable at first. "By the Ancients! They all have Colossi! RUN FOR IT!" But I need to focus on my other unfinished fics before even attempting to start(too late) this one. Pitter patter pitter patter WHAM WHAM WHAM! Kybar's Teeth and Relic Stalkers for the win.
It's awesome. Because I had this nice long post to read on a nice, finally warm, night with Dr Pepper to drink. And yes, I've been up all night. My sandman has abandoned me again.
