Day Thirty One

Finally got my laptop back. And just in time to participate in the crimson_optics comm challenge contest thing. It took a while to figure what I was going to do, but I finally settled on the Robo-Smasher and one of the Constructicons right when they become Decepticons, in this case Longhaul.

Now... to continue my Jan Challenge new year's resolution for two more days to cover what I missed when I didn't have my computer, then I'm done.

And in other news, Onge-Mokoko had her vet appointment and while she doesn't have a complete clean bill of health, she's doing fine. Mostly I just need to give my python more baths. I'm very happy with this vet, he treated my girl with the compassion many people don't give to reptiles and gave me all sorts of sources to make my snake's life even better.

yes, at least i know now. (and i'm very glad that i do!)

you're very welcome. i had the same issue when i first stepped into the internet world, because i had no idea what was appropriate and what was not. i've finally come to the understanding that a short comment on a fic or pic is a lot like telling a little girl she has a pretty bow in her hair. you expect her to say thank you, but not tell you where she got it or how much it cost her mommy.

cool, cool! :D

Been on the internet a long time, but the social aspects still trips me up far more often than I'd like. To be honest, I have problems with social stuff off the net too so it's par for the course, but no less aggravating when it crops up. Internet interactions tend to be easier anyway; what with being able to read what someone says, think about it a while, type a reply, and then being able to go over what your words are before ever pressing enter.

internet interaction does have that benefit over standard verbal communication. *nodnod* now i just wish more people would use it.
