They never been drawn like this before

If they have, I'd be surprised. Nudibranchs are not an animal very well known to the general populace. Optimus and Megatron have the shapes of real nudibranchs. At first I was going to try to find nudis that would match their color schemes, but that would have taken too long for the time being. So they just have their colors with nudibranch shapes I felt matched them to some degree. If you have the time, I recommend looking up the Chromodoris and the Dendrodoris, they're both very pretty animals. The picture is something I'm going to come back to after January is over though, there's a panoramic in my head that I'd like to finish.

*pokes image* You know, I posted you at the bunny farm so you'd leave me alone, not so you could continue to bother me.

Apparently I didn't succeed in defeating the sandman. I have now spent the week without sleep every other night.

I just went "aww" at a slug.

But they're so adorable! Megatron-dendrodoris looks like he's wagging his frills.

Yes! Success!! It's probably my all-life-is-awesome mindset, but I think it's hilarious at some of the things people get icked over.

Those are actually gills. The name nudibranch means naked gill, because of that feature. And they are adorable, here's a great website (http://www.seaslugforum.net/) if you want to waste a rainy day looking at all sorts of colorful and diverse sea slugs and snails.
