Day eleven

One relatively unknown comic series I have an horrible artistic crush on is Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, also called Xenozoic Tales. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic Earth, dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasties have returned and the humans of today are mostly lore and a mystery to the humans that remain. And a new race, that shows up from time to time, the Grith, are obscure reclusive keepers of the Earth. They're the only instance in which I don't mind the Dinosauroid look.

It's out of print, and hard to find, but I highly recommend it if you have even a passing interest in the prehistoric. The main characters are complex and even the minor ones have a depth to them. It does have a short animated series that with some internet searching you can probably find. /advert

EDIT: Might as well as participate in that question meme going around too. So go ahead and ask me stuff, I almost never know what to say about myself otherwise.

What would you recommend as a good fanfiction to someone just starting to read Beast Wars Fanfiction?

(Purely out of curiosity, that and the off-chance I'll see something new.)

Oh slag.

...I really don't know of that many Beast Wars fanfics. When first delving into the fandom I ran into Wayward Insecticon's stories (http://www.insecticons.com/fic.html), I liked them and went looking for more. But trying to wade through ff.net scared me off from the rest.

Although, now that I can make my way around the various comms out there, I should probably change that.

To be completely honest? It was Wayward that brought me into the fandom, first though her awesome comic, then by her stories. Yes, the fist Transformers fanfiction I ever read, was OV2.0. *Cough*

So nothing new then, darn. Hey, we all start somewhere. I've never understood the big deal people make about this.
