January Challenge 2014: Day 22

caiusmajor's Commission: An animal accurate Beast Wars allied Dinobot and Megatron.

Worked on this in little bits throughout the day, wrist is still sore so I'm glad this was so close to being done when drawing really started to hurt. Having to leave off commissions early yesterday had me jittery.

Will word more when I have a brain.

THEY'RE SO FUZZY!!!!!!!!!! I especially love feathers so much and the lighting, but also their poses, they're so adorable.

OMG, I just noticed the rubber ducky.

I went with the more primitive insulating feathers like those found on ratites for Megatron while sticking to the more familiar setup of avian feathers for Dinobot.

I had to add the ducky.

There will never be a time when Beast Era Megatron's stubby little arms fail to make me squee.

AND THEN THERE WAS A RUBBER DUCKY IN HIS HAND OMG DYING NOW.

Tyrannosaur arms are so cool, even though they're little they're fully formed limbs that can do stuff.

Everyone is loving the ducky. ^_^
