Frag.

Didn't help I kept getting art block on this thing, or that I was also too stubborn to do something else. I really should refrain from keep on picking on Decepticons. Not only would it be hazardous to my health but it doesn't really help my case when I say I tend to like them more than the Autobots.

Someone should also shoot me for bad dialog.

That said, I've discovered that Coneheads are exponentially more fun and easier to draw than the standard seeker. I'm going to ask for suggestions now, as my Idea Well is starting to run dry. At least for things that wouldn't take more than a day's work.

Inspired by bunny number two.

*stares* Oh...well, have we learned anything from this?

...I should probably wait until he gets out of traction before asking.

Me or Dirge? I should try to keep to things I can finish and Dirge should try not to taunt the Autobots he's after if he doesn't want bad lines as well as trees thrown his way. I'm just glad I've finally found out how to do speech bubbles.

Out of..traction? I'm confused.

Originally, I was referring to Dirge only, but...uh, yay that you learned something too? Didn't plan that, but it's always good to learn things, right?

From Wikipedia: In orthopedic medicine, traction refers to the set of mechanisms for straightening broken bones or relieving pressure on the skeletal system. There are two types of traction: skin traction and skeletal traction. The purpose of traction is to:

* To regain normal length and alignment of involved bone.
* To reduce and immobilize a fractured bone.
* To lessen or eliminate muscle spasms.
* To relieve pressure on nerves, especially spinal.
* To prevent or reduce skeletal deformities or muscle contractures.

In most cases traction is only one part of the treatment plan of a patient needing such therapy. The physician’s order will contain:

* Type of traction
* Amount of weight to be applied
* Frequency of neurovascular checks if more frequent than every four (4) hours.
* Site care of inserted pins, wires, or tongs
* The site and care of straps, harnesses and halters
* The inclusion of any other physical restraints / straps or appliances (eg. mouth guard)
* the discontinuation of traction

Although the use of traction has decreased over the years, there is an increasing number of orthopedic practitioners that are using traction in conjunction with bracing.

Hence the phrase "out of traction"; I should have waited until he was uninjured enough to speak to me.

Learning is always good, it's one of my primary forms of entertainment.

And Medic-speak! It feels kinda obvious now that that's what you meant, but my brain was stuck on traction as in how slippery is the ground. Feel free to use it whenever, hopefully I won't be as dense in the future.

Your first comment is now awesome and is giving me ideas.

Indeed, learning is fundamental! ...that was so bad...

It's the opposite for me; my brain always associated traction with crazy stunt aftermaths. While the results are worth it, medic-speak is hard--I'm working off Scrubs, House, and the Internet, and it's still a challenge. I'm fine with it, though.

~Hee hee...Ideas are good. Feed, my pretties, feed.

Ouch, is it at least good sleep?

*still laughs* I'm going to try to remember this tomorrow just for the laughs.

That's something I know all too well. If there's something else in the natural world that a phrase can refer to, I'll usually think of that first no matter how common the actual meaning is. Or a phrase that most people think as one thing will mean something else because I know about the subject. EX: Lion-heart. Usually means brave/noble, but all I can think of is a lazy bully/childkiller who steals others' hard earned food/whatever.

*is sent into new set of snickers*

BWAHAHAHAH!!!
Ahem.
That is really funny. I'm glad my bunny helped that.

If you want a suggestion, how about (insert name here) leaning down to shoot a plot bunny. What the transformer doesn't realise is that there are hundreds behind him. All about to pounce.

Or even some random transformer watching innocent creatures playing, and then some predator jumping on them and killing them all. I'd be tempted to put Beachcomber in if I could draw, just to be nasty.

Thank you

That is a nice mental image. I'll have to see if it will wait until the month is done, since it feels like a more-than-a-day piece.

*is amused at the mention of Beachcomber* I just used him in a pic. This fandom telepathy thing is just awesome. Personally I think having the other Autobots being disturbed instead would be better. Especially if Beachcomber and Hound are all nonchalant about the whole thing. *feeds bunny and asks it to please wait patiently*

Poor Dirge, at least he can be thankful that it isn't a pine tree, their sap is murder to get off. As it is, he's going to be picking out sticks, bark and other bits out of unusual places for weeks. See, this is why you don't mess with certain mechs when they're in their element, just like not many would like to go against the Seekers in the air.

You could always do more Cybertronian animal life, like a photovoltaic cat, a razor snake, or a robopossum. Then again, there's a few art challenges going on at the tf2007fun comm right now, like this one (http://community.livejournal.com/tf2007fun/1296352.html#cutid1), in which I think the Aztec culture would be more appropriate. After all, many alien enthusiast already think some of the gods are actually modeled after other worldly visitors.

The secret to removing pine sap is rubbing alcohol. Even if Dirge knew that I still wouldn't envy a Pine tree to the face.

Until one particular drawing is finished I don't think I'll be able to design more Cybertronian critters. Fortunately I know what to do now to complete it.

*ponders the challenge* That sounds FUN. *breaks out pencil and paper*
