This is the reason for my organics drawing spree the last few days, I've been finishing up this puppy. For the longest time I couldn't decide who would be the intimidated mech, as one of the suggestions was someone who'd never seen a Titanium Moosebot before and were taken aback by the sheer size of the thing. [livejournal.com profile] alabaster_demon solved my dilemma by suggesting Dead End in my plea for characters post.

(I don't really know who that applies to more, the moosiebot or the terrified!Dead End)

I don't know either. On one hand, I love how well the moosebot came out and just how far I've come with depicting metal already. On the other, Dead End is a character I immediately felt a kinship with.

The best I can do is just pat the both of them and hope to Primus and Unicron that I don't end up a bloody smear on the pavement.

Oh, Dead End, you poor little city bot. This is probably his first time on Cybertron, too with his luck. Wonder how the other Earth created mechs are doing with their first trip to their home planet, bet some of them can't wait to get back to Earth or that they'll be complaining about the organic planet as much as before. And all I can say is that it's a very good thing he didn't run into any of the predatory creatures. Yet.

And the moosebot is almost twice Deaders height, which means its even bigger than I thought. Hope no one gets it in their head to try and use the moosebot as substitute reindeer to try and test out if they can be Santa Claus.

Wait until you see the predatory creature I've thought up, it's an ambusher. Been trying to think up reasons for the presence of cybertronian wildlife as is (the life and personality aspect) and I think I've come up with a good one. Vector sigma made much of them as a defense to intruders or something like that as using just an automated mechanism wouldn't work as well. The idea is still being polished, but I think it's a plausible reason.

You have given me more bunnies, I blame you for my newest post. I also have a short story about what happens with one of the pictures running amok in my head that I'm afraid to write.

Can't wait to see this predator, especially since it's an ambusher. Like the theory that Vector Sigma made them as a defense. I'm now seeing the moosebots dressed up like medieval steeds with the Stunticons riding them with lances ready to charge into battle.

*is quite happy to take the blame for more art* Write the story, you know you want to, the bunnies demand it.

*Warning: Info Dump*
1. Wildlife: There are many documented mechanisms of Cybertron that are classified as ‘wildlife’. So named since they generally run on their own, often unchecked for long periods of time, able to survive without the assistance of their makers. Somehow, these mechanoids have found a way to replicate themselves without the use of a device like the All Spark, Matrix, or Vector Sigma. It’s not entirely known how or why they are able to do this, but some suspect that it’s because of Spark/Matrix residue that have built up after the artifacts have been in a heavily shielded area for a long period of time. They are also used as a primary example by Evolutionists to give credit to their theory that we evolved from drone like machines into the beings we are today.
They have the ability to consume the entire body of a fellow mechanoid and process it into fuel or material for the bodies when wounded. Usually there is little left after a meal, unless they were interrupted or found certain parts inedible.

I think I need to start posting my headcanon stuff somewhere since there's multiple reasons for the presence of wildlife, including escaped experiments like the glitch mice. I'll, ah, just shut up now.

Can't wait to share it, just need to "flesh it out" so to speak. Having Vector Sigma covers pretty much everything you could possibly think of when needing to explain why there's other advanced life on Cybertron.

You need that comm up, is what you need. Your head canon is giving me ideas. Here's one for how they reproduce, Budding. Between the shoulders, on the back, or wherever is unobtrusive for the 'parent', a growth of plates in a vaguely cocoon-shaped chamber holds the animal's spark while a body forms.

...Damn, there's more but I can't word it properly right now. *needs to hunt the Sandman again*

You don't have to shut up. In fact, I say don't shut up. I have no problems with long or off tangent replies, feel free to use me as a sounding board if you want. *babbles*
