Test run of a pics-for-fics exchange idea with alabaster_demon . This belongs to her fanfic The Mirror in the Waves, so go read it if you want the image to make sense.



Even though I really like the idea of a fanart for fanfiction exchange, I don't know how I'm going to go with it. Requesting things from others is unexplainably awkward for me, even in exchanges when it's an equal trade. Which after five years of doing exchanges elsewhere, it hasn't gotten any better. :P I just get stuck when asking for things.

This month hasn't been good for art.

*squees some more* Sunny's face is just perfect. All stunned and unsure and vulnerable and wondering. He's so surprised that his foot is dangling in the Rust Sea (which has got to be bad for his paintjob) and he hasn't even noticed! I wonder if he's ever even hugged someone before this...

I like that you can't really see Sideswipe's expression, like he just flopped right out of the painting onto Sunny and he hasn't really had a chance to figure out who he is yet.

And I am irrationally fond of Sunny's fan's little lamp thing.

I'm glad you like it so much. As an exchange I wanted to make sure I did more with the image than my usual fare. Now I just need to get you the larger un-shrunk image. *has glee from the squee*

The lamp thing is something logic dictated a patrol-bot would have. I was going to put a light in his hand but then something went hey stupid, he's a robot, he'd have his own light. So he got a lamp thing.

A fic idea, a fic idea, a fic idea...You know what, just go for it with what you feel inspired with. I'm not going to come up with anything anytime soon.

Well actually, now that you mention it, your not coming up with anything anytime soon is pretty much perfect, because I'm swamped with college stuff at the moment. Probably after a week or two I'll have more time to write my own stuff, instead of essays and such.

And kinda like you said about your picture, since I'm writing specifically for someone else I really want it to be something you'd wanna read and not just one of my pet projects. Because I'd be doing those anyway, you know? So whenever you think of a favorite character or group or scenario, or a bunny at the Farm catches your eye, just drop me a line and I'll start brainstorming.

That's a great idea, why didn't I think of that. Now I'm going to have to go bunny farm fishing.

In two weeks I'll toss something at you. Finding that something is on my to do list.
