[Error: unknown template qotd]SET ONE
-I've ridden a camel and it was bouncy.
-I've held a black widow spider bare handed.
-I've driven a motorcycle non-stop across the state.

SET TWO (because I like this prompt)
-I've jumped off a cliff
-I've been in a car accident
-I've eaten alligator

That psychicness must extend beyond the TF fandom because I was thinking about something very close to this for quite a while before seeing this. *shrug*

Thank [livejournal.com profile] heslestor for talking about Sunstorm and then sending me aurora borealis pictures to plant the bunny when I realized that with his ability, Sunstorm could make some impressive patterns in the upper atmosphere. Originally it was bigger and suplimented with a close up of the seeker, but that didn't turn out very well at all.

It just astounds me that none you guys seriously picked the black widow as the lie. Am I that obvious?

*makes a note to poke your stories more often* I hear you, there's so many ideas in my head that they bottleneck at my wrist. Then none of them get finished.

True, I guess I'm just complaining since it's a major issue for me with the popular thought that sauropods are clumsy and stupid, (it's changing but it still gives me grief) when the most beautiful and graceful skeleton I ever saw was that of a Camarasaurus. And oooh, you had me googling it and watching that vid over and over again.

I'm trying to learn flash, I think it would be great fun once I got the hang of it. The only problem is getting the hang of it. I just need a nice tutorial that explains it in a manor I understand, otherwise it's slow going.

I... uh, I wrote a very short ficlet within an hour and a half after seeing that. It's been sitting on my hard drive all this time, but I haven't posted it since it doesn't feel quite right for Minefield. I could email it if you like?

Yes, yes you are. The only reason I, at first, would have chosen that as the lie was because of my personal dislike of spiders.

*needs to update fic list* I started even more that I don't have up on it yet. I am TRYING to get some of the bunny farm one shots done first. The main one is this bunny: 11. Carly gets her ears pierced. Autobots don't understand why she would willingly go through torture. Turns out that on Cybertron there is a torture that is very similar to human body piercing. There's quite a few other one shots that need to be done first before I work on anything multichapter.

It's possibly the Land Before Time fan in me, but I could never understand the whole big creature = stupid thing either. Though it's really not helped with the media always going with that particular trope. Which video did you find? The elephant stepping over a wire was for a documentary about farmers living in peace with the elephants instead of out right killing them.

Sure! Send it on over whenever you like, I'm excited to get some material on any of your Saurs.

Tell you what, you get a fic done before I start on the fanfic giftart thing and I'll draw you a cover pic for it. You keep commenting on the different fics you have in progress, but they don't get finished and I can't read them. No matter how interesting they sound. *sad face* And the one you just mentioned reminded me of a plot detail I have in which, when lacking proper restraints, holes are drilled in a mechs armor and the rope/chain/whatever is threaded through instead.

It shouldn't have to be the Land Before Time inner fan to counter that thought. With as intelligent as all the worlds' giants are you'd think it'd be a dead cliche. Whales, elephants (who have the whole memory saying attached), even salt water crocodiles are considered smart. A "dumb" cold blooded creature. The media could suck sumac for all I care, they've done far more harm than good when it comes to a lot of things. The video was the other parrot dancing vid. Now I have to track down that elephant one because that sounds so very cool.

*puts fic on list of attachments to send*

asdfghjkl;qwerpoesdfdsa *keymash* Oh, god. I don't know whether to thank you for the inspiration or be angry since right after reading this, every single muse started sounding off in my head at once. *runs in circles* I don't know where to start! And the reason I keep telling about new ideas and never finishing them is because new ones keep popping up on me. I think I simply need to stay away from certain sites until I start finishing things. *tilts head* Though I wonder with your idea of improvised restraints, how many mechs ended up with torn armor because they weren't going to let that stop them. Even if it WAS wrapped around something vital.

Well, I was so young that Land Before Time was the first to me with giants as something other than slow and stupid. If the is anything that's big and dumb, it'd be the media. I forget who said it, but an actress said something along the lines of Hollywood being a beast that was a bit slow on the uptake and everything had to be explained in exacting detail many times before it finally got it.

*looks forward to attachments*

I just want to read some of your fanfics, and if I have to bribe your muses than so be it. I will bribe. I will bribe until they start listening to you and you start focusing on a fic at a time. I realize that this may be counterproductive, but damnit I want to read your stuff. It'd be harder to rip away from the restraints if it's around support struts/inner skeleton though.

*snirk* I like that quote. I was lucky in that I saw The Land Before Time long before I saw anything indicating big=dumb.

*flails**salutes* Yes, ma'am sir. :P

Well, I may not be finishing the ones I started in time to cash in on the bribe, but Spring kink is starting up again, as is a few other fic contests, so you will be seeing some stuff from me. I know, I know, it's a bit of a step backwards since this is even more stuff to work on, on top of all the other projects I have going, but at least this will force me to write. Wonderful monthly cycle just kicked in the other day and it's only looking downhill for the duration, so nothing is going to get done for a while. No matter how much I wish otherwise.

If you don't mind, I'd like you to beta my fics again. 'Cause there's quite a few I'd like to write and I'm still rather nervous about the whole thing and I'd also like to test my abilities this time around. That and while many of the prompts have caught my attention, none of them have hit me as hard as the last one, which makes me even more nervous. There are around seven prompts I really have my eye on, though I doubt I'll be claiming them all.

Well nuts, *snaps fingers* I tried. But it's good that you're getting some measure of buckling down going on. *wince*

Sure, though I have no idea how quickly it needs to get done. Do we have the same amount of time to spend as the last one? Cause that took a long time, just saying. And a little heads up, I absolutely refuse to do sticky, 'kay.

The fact that these are prompts for other people with a due date help me buckle down tremendously. Think I'm just gonna have to set dates when a certain fic has to be done by or something.

Transformers, Soundwave/Blaster, Torture (Emotional) - Signal to noise.
Transformers (G1), Rewind; asexuality/masturbation without the sexy thoughts - As his hand drifted further down and his other hand turned the page of his book, he found himself wondering just what was delaying the others in their return.
Transformers, Soundwave/Skywarp, Reassurance/Comfort - "Show them you're not."

These are the main three that I want to do, and I have until various dates in November to get them done. There's a few others that I'd like to do, but unfortunately I'm not coming up with enough for even a drabble. Then there's the one or two where I wish I could draw since I'm getting fantastic mental imagery for them but nothing for a fic.

Aw, no sticky? Even if those bits are taken out? Oh well, unless asked for directly, I don't write sticky anyway. And that's mainly 'cause I have such a difficult time writing that particular form and it really bothers me that I can't write it more than anything else.
