Nnng. I want sleep, fraggit, and I've been awake for about 38 hours. But that just let me finish the following pic that teaches one to check if the pillar/support beam is actually non-living. Or at least a living thing that won't mind if you lean against their leg.

"Get off my foot." Is more or less what I'm imagining the moosebot would say if he/she were capable of human speech. But I'll just have to settle for the lovely sounds of an angry jet turbine.
Oh and District 9 is a really good movie.

Shinies.... *pokes icon*
on 2009-09-09 01:53 am (UTC)It is screwed. It's always been screwed, and despite my best efforts I seem to screw it up as well. Hmmm.... I wonder if it's cursed? *snicker*
*ebil laughter*
Yesssssss...we likes the shinies...
on 2009-09-09 05:59 am (UTC)I reckon no one really picked at that detail back in the 80's; as this review for the 2007 movie says: "But it's tough to really care about questions like, "Why did that happen?" or even "What's going on?" when you're constantly interrupted by "Oh my goodness! Giant robots! Wheeee!""
TraumaHawk: Dammit, Ceege! Don't encourage her!

on 2009-09-16 04:59 am (UTC)True, giant robots (alien at that) do tend to distract the fan. But I'm a details person and the non-existent heights of non-existent characters matter to me. :P
*ignores TraumaHawk and tosses carrots*
