This is not the picture that has made me late, no, that honor is reserved for another image that if the muses are kind shall be posted later today. Right now this is just to make yesterday's not too late, as the one I'm working on is a monster of an image and still needs lots of work. So this dragon is simply expressing how much of a time waster the on I intended to post has become.

i rather like that he's chewing (or looks like, to me at least) the pocket watch. could extrapolate all sorts of symbolism from that. ;) (mostly though, i like it because he reminds me of a crazy NPC that used to turn up in the Dungeons and Dragons campaign i used to run.)

*nods* Symbolism is what I was going for, even if it is a rough pic, so I'm glad that was picked up on. And okay, now I'm curious, you gotta tell me about that NPC. Though only if you want to.

oh man, he was this crazy blue dragon hatchling that the player characters picked up while he was an egg, hoping to sell it. he hatched in the wagon and ate anything shiny and hoarded food. he was totally doing it wrong, but he was so little and cute that they couldn't find it in their hearts to do anything about him. i don't remember what happened to him, though; he just wasn't there anymore after a while and i don't remember if he ditched them or if he got killed or what. i may have just accidentally forgotten him one session and that was that.

*snirks* Too bad he was male, I'm seeing a dragon version of the goose that laid the golden egg now. Though if he was eating it perhaps what came out the other end was also shiny? *shrugs*

lol, who knows. we didn't exactly examine that part. and i'm not sure we really checked it for genitals, either. could have been a girl. but i doubt i would have done that with a group of male PCs.

*snorts* Aw, but breaking brains like that is fun. Though it is rather hard to tell the sex of a reptile when they're young like that. And even then, some species are nearly impossible when grown up and they're adults.

*nodnod* there is that too. and we did like realism in our D&D. (seriously, we had rules for getting pregnant if our characters had sex and everything. realism mattered.)

Okay, now that would be fun, just cause I'm a big fan of realism. And figuring out all the real world bits to mythologies and fictional universes is simple entertainment.

oh it was fun. those were the good old days of gaming for me. we'll never, ever, have another group like that again. *sigh* (of course, the ability for all of us to play together again would be helped by us NOT being scattered across four states. and for everyone to not still be pissed off at my ex-husband.)

...I would ask, but I'm not sure if that would open a can of worms you'd rather not have opened.

well, i'll leave it at the fact that our group started coming apart at the seams when he started sleeping with the wife of another of the players.

You know, I don't think Clockwork from Danny Phantom would appreciate a dragon that ate clocks, or time itself, for matter.

Almost forgot about that show, still need to watch the third season. And now I'm tempted to create a time eating ghost dragon OC for that fandom, stop it.

Need to watch the third season in full, I've only seen a few episodes. *feeds OC making bunnies* You know you want to. Can you just see the dragon pouting when Clockwork gets all upset at it for eating a stray timeline? "But, but, no one was using it."*whines*

No, I do not need any more OCs, seriously I do not. And definitely not for a fandom I'm not participating in, Transforms and Magi Nation take up enough of my brainspace thankyouverymuch. :P
