January Challenge Day 8?: Iodrome and Great Wroggi

Here we go, back on schedule. Even though the two missed days hurt as I felt like this could be the year I actually complete this challenge of mine, I wouldn't take them back. I'll just have to do like I have done in year's previous and add on the missed days in February.

These are the two poison bird wyverns of Monster Hunter; a first gen and a third gen, and it's rather impressive with how different they are in design even when both share the Theropod body type. And I do like fighting them, even if their poison can be a pain.

There'll probably be more Monster Hunter art this month as I finally get to play Tri Ultimate and I've been blazing through the quests since I beat MH: Tri a while ago. I cannot tell you how much I love this game series. But now, bed, my head is killing me.

oh, I do like those bright colors and the differences in their designs. it's like the divergent evolutionary tracks of swallows--same family, same ecological niche, different survival needs. it's very cool.

the newest monster hunter game, which console is that on? I think it's time I experience this franchise.

It's part of why I really, really like the series. All the monsters are very much like actual animals, each has it's own behavior and place in the world, and each requires a different tactic to beat them. (my only gripe is that a number of prey species don't seem to have the defenses needed with some of the predators out there)

Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate is on both the 3DS and on the Wii U. Of which, if you have both, you can transfer your hunter between the two systems. I have the 3DS version, so if you do end up getting that one we can hunt together since there's a ton of online play too. Whee! I have a 3DS! now to find out how much the game will run me at work (gods bless working in a Best Buy!) and pick up a copy. your fannishness for the series has really been fun, and it's what perked my interest in the series. hunting together sounds like it could be a blast! we'll have to do that once I've got a copy of the game. :D

Haaa, I'm glad. It's just I could go on and on about this game and I'd rather not suffocate anyone's interest by being overly wordy about it. Though I do warn you that you can waste a lot of time gathering stuff, it's tons better than earlier games, but there's some supplies that you just need to farm for. And not in the using the farm to grow stuff definition either. (like carpenterbugs, damn those elusive things)

And shiiiit, I was just looking at how to multiplayer online and it's not supported for the 3DS, just the Wii U. (something I haven't done before because my access to WI-FI is really limited) It's supports local play though, not that that helps any.

oh man, i know that feeling. i can go on for HOURS about the pokemon games and why they're awesome.

I'm a Final Fantasy gamer. farming is nothing to me. (unless the game is FFVII and I'm farming for supplies to summon Doomtrain. then I cry.)

too bad about the multi-player. I won't have a Wii U for a while yet (paying off my PS3 come tax return time) so we'll just have to wait on that. darn it.

Alrighty then, I just wanted to make sure that you knew there was farming involved since it's a turn off for some people. C:

At least we'll be able to trade hunter profiles. I'll really have to look into this as you'd be the first I get to play MH with, but I think there's a little stuff we could still do.

I am of the opinion that people who are turned off by farming grew up with the wrong generation of games. sometimes you have to work for your results!

I won't be able to pick it up til February most likely, so you'll have plenty of time to research. :)

The very root of your writing whilst appearing reasonable in the beginning, did not really work perfectly with me personally after some time. Someplace throughout the sentences you actually were able to make me a believer but only for a short while. I however have a problem with your jumps in logic and one would do well to help fill in those breaks. If you can accomplish that, I could surely be impressed.

First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Thanks!|掲示板}

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and all. Nevertheless think about if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this blog could undeniably be one of the greatest in its field. Wonderful blog!
